I‘m trying to learn how to speak, when recording episodes for this podcast, in as natural and truthful a fashion as possible. So to sort of shove myself towards that goal, for this episode I hit the record button without knowing ahead of time what I wanted to talk about.

Strangely, a somewhat cohesive series of thoughts do end up parading out of my mouth (or maybe I’m being overly self-charitable here), mainly clustering around transparency in behavior and communication, and what I believe to be the massive level of interpersonal data exchange that occurs beyond the merely verbal (at least in face-to-face scenarios).

Here’s a link to an excerpt of the This American Life episode on Brad Blanton I mention – definitely worth a watch for a truly refreshing approach to life this guy seems to exhibit, which he coins “radical honesty”.
